Inter have arguably announced their biggest contract extension news of the season. The chief directors of the Nerazzurri have been tied down to the club for three more seasons, according to the official announcement on the club website.
Chief executive officer Giuseppe ‘Beppe’ Marotta, sporting director Piero Ausilio and his deputy Dario Baccin have all signed new contracts at the Giuseppe Meazza that will expire only in the summer of 2025. The trio are an integral part of Nerazzurri operations, having concretely held their respective posts since and even before the acquisition of the club by Suning Holdings Group in 2016.

Dario Baccin was appointed in July 2017 from Palermo, whereas chairman Marotta jumped ship from hardcore rivals Juventus in the winter of 2018, having held his CEO role with the Bianconeri 2009/10 to 2018/19.
Ausilio has been with the club since the end of the 20th century, having started out as the academy manager at the club in 1998. He was a member of the administrative board at Spezia for one season in 2004/05, before moving back to the Nerazzurri ranks and being promoted as the club’s sporting director in the 2013/14 season.
The three were set to witness their respective contracts expire at the end of the current season but now will stick in their ranks for three more seasons, thanks to Inter president Steven Zhang, as Inter continue their domestic dominance after last year’s Scudetto triumph.
