Luka Kilian, who is on loan at FC Köln from Mainz until the end of the season, is not interested in returning to his parent club.
“Of course, I would prefer to stay here with FC. I will not be going back to Mainz, I can say that much already,” Kilian told Geißbockecho.
“My time in Mainz was an instructive chapter that I don’t have to open again.
“Even if it does not come to anything with a stay here, I will probably look elsewhere.”
FC Köln could trigger a €2 million clause to sign the centre-back on a permanent basis.
