Speaking to Spanish radio station Cadena Ser – transcribed in L’Equipe – Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino notably spoke about the future of Kylian Mbappé, who has been linked with a move to Real Madrid with his contract expiring.
Whilst the forward himself has stated that no decision will be made before the double header in the Champions League between the two teams starting next week, his push to join the La Liga side last summer has meant that the focus has been on him.
“I don’t think that such an important decision as whether Mbappé will stay will depend on these two matches. He’s a smart and mature guy, who’s gifted with a great capacity to analyze, and always aware of what he wants for his career and his future. I see him as calm, ready to do as well as possible for PSG as he’s said.”
