Bayern Munich will be without Manuel Neuer for a while after the goalkeeper underwent surgery on Sunday.
Bayern Munich will be without club captain Manuel Neuer for a number of weeks, the German champions announced on Sunday.
The 35-year-old goalkeeper faces a spell on the sidelines after undergoing surgery on his right knee joint.
“All of us in the club and the team wish Manuel a good and speedy recovery, and we’re sure he’ll be back to full fitness with us soon,” said Bayern board member for sport Hasan Salihamidzic.
According to Bild, Neuer will be out for four to six weeks. Sven Ulreich is expected to fill in for him.
Get well soon, Manu! 💪
