Borussia Dortmund have confirmed reports that Niklas Süle wants to join the club from Bayern Munich.
The centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season, at which point he will make the switch to Dortmund.
“We are delighted that we have been able to sign Niklas Süle, a German international, free of charge and tie him to us for four years,” emphasized BVB sporting director Michael Zorc.
Current head of first team football Sebastian Kehl, who will succeed Zorc in the summer, explains:
“Niklas has shown us in personal talks that he has a great desire to play for Borussia Dortmund. He has a lot of experience, calmness in the build-up play and the necessary physicality to take the next step together with us from the summer. “
