Antonio Conte validates the idea of a return of Christian Eriksen (29) to Spurs. He would be delighted to work with him again.
Facing the press, the Tottenham coach spoke about a possible return of the Danish international: “Of course, Eriksen is part of Tottenham history. Coming back here would be a great opportunity for him, for me and for the club.”, he confided. He is surprised by his quick return to the lawns: “Honestly, I was surprised at the situation because in my mind I thought Christian would need more time before coming back to play in England. » However, he would be delighted to work with him again: “I’m the first to be happy to see him back on the pitch because we had a really good time together at Inter Milan. We won the championship and spent two important seasons together. I send him my best wishes for the future. And you never know what can happen. It would be good for me to have him again and to work with him again. »
As a reminder, Christian Eriksen has not played a match since his heart attack, which occurred during the Euro. He is committed with Brentford and could play again very quickly.
